Annual Report
As we come to a close on 2024 and head into our 10-year anniversary in 2025, we reflect with immense gratitude on the growth and success of Kids Chance of Florida with our first ever Annual Report. Our successes wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support and dedication from our supporters.
Thanks to your generosity, the 2023-2024 scholarship cycle was a tremendous success! We received 82 applications and awarded scholarships to 13 deserving Florida students, totaling more than $65,000. These scholarships will make a profound difference in the lives of these students, helping them to continue their education and pursue their dreams.
Beyond scholarships, our impact extended further this year. We continued our tradition of providing Care Packages to our students during their Fall finals, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. We also launched a mentor program designed to provide guidance, support, and build trust with our scholars. This program is an exciting step forward in creating a lasting connection and fostering collaboration between our students and the community.
A highlight of 2024 was our record-breaking 4th Annual Golf Tournament at the WCI Conference, which raised over $83,000—the highest amount ever raised at this event. This sold-out tournament brought together supporters from across the country to make a tangible difference in the lives of our students. A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us for this event and made it such a success!
As we move forward into 2025, we remain committed to empowering the next generation of scholars and ensuring they have the opportunities and support they need to succeed. None of this would be possible without you. Your support continues to make a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to our mission.
On behalf of the board and the students we serve, thank you for being an integral part of our success. Together, we are creating brighter futures for the children of injured workers.
