Kids’ Chance Week

Kids’ Chance Week moved from November to October in 2025!  Kids’ Chance Week, established in 2014, plays a vital role in elevating the visibility of our mission. By uniting our efforts each year during this dedicated week, we amplify our impact and reach a broader audience. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of children affected by workplace injuries.  Kids’ Chance Week offers many ways for you to participate in supporting children affected by workplace injuries.

Every kid should have a chance at a better future. That’s why our 50 state organizations provide scholarships and support to ensure our kids can complete their education and pursue their desired career paths.  Workers get injured on the job every day. When a worker is seriously or fatally injured, it doesn’t just affect them, it affects their entire family — especially their kids.  Every member of the Kids’ Chance community can support our mission during Kids’ Chance Week. By coming together one week each year, we concentrate our efforts, which boosts our volume.  Join our national movement for one day or for the whole week. Every action makes a difference.

One of the KCFL Student Engagement activities during the week is providing care packages to our current scholarship recipients.
